ROUTE "DOLMENS OF GORAFE" – Granada Geopark Date: 21 November 2026 | Organised by: AFRICAN DESERT | Distance: 136 km | Duration: 8 h Discover one of the most fascinating archaeological treasures of the Granada Geopark on our Route "Dolmens of Gorafe". During this day, we will travel through a unique landscape dotted with more than 200 dolmens — prehistoric funerary monuments dating from the Neolithic and Copper Age, over 4,000 years ago. These dolmens, built with enormous stone slabs, are silent witnesses to ancient cultures that inhabited the area. The route combines history, archaeology and nature in a unique experience for all heritage and adventure lovers. SATURDAY SCHEDULE 09:00 – Route start from Benalúa. Briefing at 09:00, departure at 09:30. Route: Technical sections, unique landscapes, badlands and open plateaus of the Granada Geopark. Difficulty: Low.
